About Us

We are a community dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of doomsday listed Bunny Old Wood, its ancient footpaths, wildlife history and a true English countryside setting. Our goal is to prevent the construction of a second solar industrial zone that would compromise the natural habitat and migration patterns of large wildlife. By raising awareness we aim to protect this ancient wood, its' endangered wildlife and future generations of walkers.

There are substantial risks and harms if we fail

Environmental Conservation

Our principles

We are committed to preserving the integrity of the Midshires Way and protecting the 1000 year old wood and its wildlife from industrialization. If approved it WILL BECOME A SHAMEFUL PATH
"The Rushcliffe Walk of Shame"

We dont want that.

Community Engagement

Walkers from multiple communities- West Bridgford, Derby, Keyworth, Beeston Nottingham, Old Dalby, Burton, Lowdham, Tamworth Mapperly Atherstone, Sherwood, Melton Mowbray, Wymeswold, and Willoughby stand against this massive solar industrialization zone.

Sustainable Development

We want the natural paths and habitats of wildlife, safely protected from excessive gruby development. One approved solar industrial zone for 14000 homes at Highfields Farm is enough. A second immediately adjacent solar zone will almost totally seal the top edge of Bunny Old Wood.

This is greedy and excessive.
